From January 15th to 17th, the Portuguese jewellery shop presented itself in Berlin at the height of Fashion Week in the German capital. For the first time, AORP – Associação de Ourivesaria e Relojoaria de Portugal promoted a collective participation in Show & Order x Premium, with the aim of strengthening its presence in the German market.

To mark its debut, the association invited the renowned German creative duo 44FLAVOURS to create an exclusive artistic project for the promotion of Portuguese jewellery. The duo drew a mural that represents their vision of Portuguese jewellery, within their abstract and exuberant language, which they themselves describe as a “contemporary echo of the masters of modern art, such as Matisse and Calder”. The space gave stage to three national brands: Coquine Jewelry, Cris Maria Jewelry and Sopro Jewellery.

As this is the first collective participation of Portuguese jewellery, the aim of AORP is, according to Fátima Santos, the general secretary, “to affirm and position the Portuguese Jewellery -Shaped With Love brand in the German market, but also in the European fashion circuit. This was the first major event in the fashion industry calendar, attracting buyers not only from the host market, but from all over Europe and even the world”.
