The Vacheron Constantin Boutique in Avenida da Liberdade, 192 A, in Lisbon, hosts a set of historical pieces related to its tradition in the sports watch segment until February 18.
Born from a challenge launched by the Swiss Armed Forces who wanted a time-measuring instrument combining maximum rigour and precision with robustness, from the 1930s onwards, the Maison began to develop chronographs that became a reference for this audience, but also for scientists and athletes.
To showcase this tradition of precision watches and sports models produced by Vacheron Constantin since the 1940s, the Maison has drawn on its vast heritage of over 1,300 pieces to select the most representative of different periods and trends. These watches on display at the Vacheron Constantin Boutique in Lisbon are proof of technical expertise in the service of elegance.
This exhibition has been open to the public since 26th January and has been extended until 18th February. The pieces on show are: the 222 watch, a silver pocket chronometer from 1944, the Chronomètre Royal from 1976, the Phidias yellow gold Chronograph from 1991, the Overseas automatic stainless steel load from 2002 and the Overseas II automatic stainless steel and titanium load from 2010.
