On the 30th of November, the Clock Museum presented a watch intended to satisfy the most demanding collectors and lovers of mechanical watchmaking. The Az-zait model is produced in partnership with the German manufacturer Boccia-Tutima and pays tribute “to olive oil and to all those who work in this very noble sector, which enhances the good name of Portugal with exports all over the world since the 16th century”.
The Az-zait watch is a limited edition exclusive to the Watch Museum, featuring a 42mm titanium case, a black-green dial, an olive-green bezel, a sapphire crystal with sight machine and automatic calendar machine (Miyota cal. 8215). The model comes with a handcrafted wooden case and is sold in a unique pack, which includes a bottle of premium olive oil made to accompany the watch, as well as a mini living olive tree to invite you to plant the “watch olive tree” in your garden, on your balcony, or in your kitchen or living room. Az-zait can also be purchased with a titanium bracelet or a leather strap (black or olive green).
This limited edition is on sale exclusively in one of the two Watch Museums, in Serpa or Évora, or online on the Museum’s website with hand delivery in 24/48h on Continental Portugal.
