Maria João Bahia is a household name in the Portuguese jewellery sector as well as across the world.  When asked about her source of inspiration, the artist revealed that “everything that surrounds us has a great influence”, but nature is, without a doubt, her biggest inspiration. What is your source of inspiration? 

Everything that surrounds us has a great influence on our way of thinking and being. A trip, a play, a museum, a walk in the countryside, the sea… everything is a source of inspiration. But nature, with its great versatility, has a huge influence on me.
