Newly positioned in the watchmaking market, with more sophisticated and different model designs, Chronoswiss exhibited its new collection in Lisbon and Porto, at the end of July, featuring the return of the iconic Delphis. JoiaPro LUXURY WATCHES had a chat with Rocco Giudice, the brand’s Sales Manager, and João Saraiva, CEO of Importempo, Chronoswiss distributor in Portugal.
What is the Balance of this Promotional Event for the Brand?
João Saraiva: We have an historical connection with Chronoswiss, dating back to 1998. We have been the brand’s importers and distributors since then and we present their new collections each year. At the moment, with the arrival of Rocco Giudice, the Representative for Europe, Latin America and the Far East, we wanted to promote the models, presented in Geneva in March this year, to the press and outside agents.
Rocco Giudice: We wanted to get to know the people in our target audience, because the brand’s position has changed a lot in the last two or three years.
Rocco, can you Tell us About the Novelties Presented Here?
Rocco: The main one is the return of the Delphis model. Originally designed in the 1990s, with a classic design and a unique combination of indications, we redesigned it for the 40th anniversary of Chronoswiss by integrating a half-moon detail. The mechanism has a power supply of 55 hours and the craftsmanship is equally impressive, the seconds hand is also coated a with fire glaze. The new red gold version is a limited edition of 50 pieces, but lays the foundations for a new Dephis collection.
