The T2/07 T-Riley is the latest addition to the fun T series. With predecessors like the T-Tiger, T-Beach Club, and T-Cocorico, ‘you can expect nothing less than a watch that puts a smile on your face!’

In addition to its distinctive design language and practical attitude, SevenFriday is known for something else, or rather someone else: its mascot Riley. The popular and beloved teddy bear tried his hand at the latest Model T and proved that being a watchmaker is almost impossible. SevenFriday entrusted him with full creative control over the T2/07 skeletonized movement.

Riley’s attempt to fit perfectly into the role of watchmaker didn’t go according to plan. After all, it takes a lot of patience and experience to create and assemble a watch dial. Especially one as complex as the Model T. Riley may have skipped a few steps and improvised. That’s the only way to explain the explosion of spirals, screws, and nuts that make up the dial of the T-Riley model.

The origin story of the T2/07 may seem straight out of a fairy tale or fable, but the design of the latest T watch is no child’s play. The original brown/gold PVD combined with the dark green reinforces the double reading often seen on SevenFriday pieces. In the case of the T-Riley, the quality of the components and the formal creativity stand out from afar, but at a closer look, it’s the graphic creativity and the richness and interaction of the multi-level dials that set it apart and elevate it.

SevenFriday created the T2/07 with the prestigious Hungarian artist Kata Kerekes. She is known for her unique ability to tell stories through playful and detailed graphics, for which she has won several awards. In the past, Kata Kerekes collaborated with SevenFriday on their Tiger NFTs, imagining a plethora of cheeky tiger characters. Kata was also responsible for the equally amusing visuals on the packaging for M2/04 Whisky and T-Beach Club.
