It was a night of glamour, emotion and celebration as Marcolino marked its centenary. On 24 September, the Cruise Terminal at the Port of Leixões dressed up for the occasion, welcoming around 250 guests for a special evening that brought together family, friends, partners and figures linked to the brand’s history.
The celebration of Marcolino’s 100 years was marked by the presence of the founders’ family, in a particularly symbolic moment that paid tribute to the roots and legacy of a company with a century of history. Amid reunions, memories and plenty of elegance, the evening was dedicated to celebrating the past, but also to looking towards the future.
Against a unique backdrop, with the Atlantic as the setting, guests were welcomed to an evening planned down to the last detail, where glamour and sophistication mingled with the emotion of a historic date.
Music played a central role in the celebration. The Orquestra do Norte delivered one of the highlights of the night, providing the soundtrack for a gala marked by elegance and a festive atmosphere. The evening ended on a high note with a performance by Dulce Pontes, who took to the stage with her unmistakable voice and closed the night with a memorable musical moment.
Throughout the gala, Marcolino’s history was always present, celebrating a journey built over several generations and marked by its connection to watchmaking and jewellery, its closeness to its customers and its ability to keep pace with different generations.
More than marking a date, the centenary gala was a tribute to the people who made, and continue to make, Marcolino’s history. A night of celebration, reunions and emotion, which brought together past, present and future in one of the most emblematic venues in the Porto region.
