With an unparalleled career in watchmaking in Portugal, his life-long journey began in 1960, at Escola de Relojoaria da Casa Pia [Casa Pia Watchmaking School], where he started the Watchmaker’s Industrial Training Course at the age of 12, and finished at the age of 15 in 1963.
“After having written a great number of manuals and supporting notes for the courses I have taught, and having published dozens of articles in various magazines, perhaps it is time to compile my career into a book called ‘The Book of Stories and Watches’”.
