To “Embrace the Singularity”, Exaequo launches unconventional watches, inspired by surrealism, which reflect fluid and distorted time by the human. They are oval, flattened, 47 mm long and 28 mm wide and a two-level dial in blue, black, white, green and gold. The crown allows easy time setting.
Exaequo is also reborn in celebration of the Surrealist Manifesto of 1924 and launches these creations, always inspired by “surrealism”, to captivate with updated stylistic elements, both aesthetic and functional. These are boxes with asymmetrical and sinuous lines, available in versions with a satin finish in 316L steel and PVD gold plating.
The oval shape of the Exaequo Melting Watch, flattened in the central part, with a length of approximately 47 mm and a maximum width of about 28 mm, features a rounded crown on the right side for easy time adjustment. On the two-level dial, protected by a domed plastic glass, five tones of the dial are available, namely blue, black, white, green and gold, both in the version with steel case and in gold. They have Roman numerals and contrasting indices, which harmonize with the lines of the box and complete the clearly surrealist character.
The back, or bottom of the case, which allows the customization of the watch, is fixed by four screws, ensuring water resistance up to 30 meters deep and the possibility of easily replacing the battery and, if necessary, the entire electromechanical movement Ronda 751.
The design of the Melting Watch is complemented by a strap in smooth leather for the steel version and in crocodile leather for the gold version, both in harmony with the colors of the dial, with tone-on-tone seams, and buckle fasteners also in perfect “hypersoft” style.
The curved box, in steel or gold, has a satin finish in 316L steel and PVD gold. It has water resistance of 30 m depth and easy replacement of the stack and the Ronda 751 movement. The bracelet is made of smooth leather in the steel version and crocodile leather in the gold.
