Vista Alegre leads reputation in the luxury sector in Portugal

The Portuguese brand Vista Alegre was considered the company with the best reputation in the luxury sector in Portugal, scoring 81.2 points in a ranking prepared by the consulting firm OnStrategy and surpassing several leading international brands.

Vista Alegre was chosen by consumers as the brand with the best reputation and trust in the luxury segment in Portugal, achieving 81.2 points on a 100-point scale. The recognition comes from a study by the international consultancy OnStrategy, which assesses consumer perception and trust in different brands operating in the national market.

The historic Portuguese company, known for its production of porcelain, crystal and glass, ranks ahead of some of the most prestigious international luxury brands, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Rolex, Cartier and Dior.

According to the study, Vista Alegre stands out in several dimensions of reputation, namely brand relevance and consideration, admiration and recommendation, social and environmental responsibility and corporate governance. In the criteria relating to product quality, service quality and purchase confidence, the company shares the top position with the automotive brand Porsche.

The study also places the Portuguese brand among the 39 companies operating in Portugal classified with an “excellent” reputation level. For Fernando Daniel Nunes, the company’s CEO, this result confirms the brand’s growing recognition among consumers and reflects the internationalisation process that has been strengthened since 2009, the year in which Vista Alegre became part of the Visabeira Group.

With almost two centuries of history, the company currently maintains a strong international presence and stands as one of the main global players in the luxury ceramics and crystal sectors.
